SATS Results for Key Stage 2 2017
All of Yardley’s Year 6 pupils – 100% – achieved the expected standard or above for English reading, writing, spelling and grammar, and maths. The national average is 61%.

The marking scheme changed this year, with many schools noting inconsistencies in the marking between schools and across local authorities.
Reading: 88% reached the expected level (national average = 66%)

Grammar and spelling 88% reached the expected level (national – no figures)
35% reached the Greater Depth of learning
Maths 100% reached the expected level (national average = 70%)
29% reached the Greater Depth of learning
Writing – Teacher Assessed 65% reached the expected level (national average = 74%)
12% reached the Greater Depth of learning
