To avoid traffic congestion outside the school at the beginning and end of the day, parents are actively encouraged to walk to school with their child, where possible. Children who have completed “Bikeability” are encouraged to cycle to school. Those who have not are welcome, when accompanied by an adult, to cycle or scooter to school. A bike/scooter rack is provided at the front of school. * All bicycle or scooter users should wear the appropriate helments and safety equipment.
Parents dropping children off in cars are reminded that no stopping or turning must be carried out in the school car park as this could lead to a serious accident. The owners of the shop have also indicated that parents should not turn or park in their delivery area. The school has excellent relationships with its neighbours and we want to maintain these. Please be considerate of people who live in and around the area. School Lane is not the biggest road, so we politely ask parents to consider parking a little further away and walk children down, especially on days when we have coaches collecting or returning children.
Pupils who live at Grafton Regis can be taken to and from school on the school bus, which leaves Grafton Regis at approximately 8.30am and leaves Yardley Gobion at approximately 3.45pm.
* The school cannot accept any liability for property left in the cycle rack, this is at the owners own risk.
