Yardley Gobion CE Primary School

Welcome and thank you for taking the time to visit our website.

School LogoWhether you are visiting the site because you have our school in mind for your child, or you are an existing parent or guardian, I hope that it will provide you with all of the information you need and give you an insight into what Yardley Gobion Church of England Primary School is all about.

At Yardley Gobion we are passionate about providing a broad and balanced curriculum that gives a depth of opportunities and makes our children excited to learn. We want the children to grow as outstanding learners with the skills and confidence to take on any challenges that the 21st century may bring. The school has strong connections with Peterborough Diocese and St Leonard’s Church as our vision statement highlights:

Using the talents God gave us to achieve and shine.” We relate this strongly to the Parable of the Talents, in which Jesus highlighted that God wants us to do our very best, never to hide the gifts he has given us.

We see every child as an individual and it is of paramount importance to us to that they develop their social, spiritual, moral, cultural, physical and artistic skills alongside their academic successes. Simply put, our aim is that every child is happy and excited about coming to school and has the opportunity to shine. Our recent Ofsted inspection noted that “staff are passionate about providing pupils with the best possible opportunities” (Ofsted November 2017).

Please feel free to contact us at school if you require any further information or to arrange a visit to experience what Yardley Gobion CE Primary has to offer
