Welcome to Volcano Class

Our Teacher is Mr Thompson and our Teaching Assistant is Mrs Benn 

In English, each term, children focus on one text, which is linked to the foundation topic in Year 6. In Maths we are using White Rose Maths to stimulate children’s learning using both concrete, pictorial and abstract methods to really understand our learning. In the afternoon we will be exploring different topics.

Our first topic this year will be Natural Disasters and in particular volcanos and earthquakes. 

Volcano class is full of hard-working, competitive children that really enjoy learning by ‘doing’! The children are an extremely talented bunch in many different ways and show this through art, music, sport and spirituality.
